About
Chieh-Lin Ting
As the founder of the brand, Chieh-Lin Ting was born in Shanghai—a city imbued with Art Deco influences. From his youth, he was a mechanical enthusiast whose multifaceted identity has shaped a unique horological world: possessing the rigorous mindset of an electrical engineer while simultaneously being a watch collector, restorer, authentication expert, consultant, and educator. Since 2010, Ting has served as a moderator for WATCHLEAD, one of China's largest watch forums, accumulating over a decade of deep expertise in Haute Horlogerie.
In the realm of Haute Horlogerie, the perpetual calendar has long been regarded as the apex of calendar watchmaking. Yet traditional perpetual calendars still bear a mechanical limitation that surfaces once every century—requiring manual adjustment during non-leap year transitions such as 2100, 2200, and 2300. True secular perpetual calendars, which flawlessly adhere to the Gregorian calendar's rules, are exceedingly rare in horological history. Each surviving example represents a unique mechanical masterpiece, unparalleled in its engineering.

Being an explorer deeply versed in the sciences of chronology and the aesthetics of mechanics, has always been captivated by the intricacies of time measurement. His debut masterpiece boldly incorporates an independently developed, instantaneous-jumping secular perpetual calendar mechanism—distinct from all others. This marks not only the first attempt by a Chinese watchmaker in this realm of ultra-high complications but also redefines the essence of eternal calendar mechanics through an entirely original horological language.
Through timekeeping instruments, humanity has documented stars and explored oceans. This debut work merely marks the prologue of Chieh-Lin Ting 's horological odyssey.
When asked why he would start anew at 35, he simply smiles: "Because I haven't finished building my dream."
That Enicar watch he disassembled as a boy was like a temporal seed—silently germinating for decades, now finally in full bloom.
